Jason Sibrian is a graduate from Boston College with a B.S. in Neuroscience and a minor in Studio Art.
As a student in STEM, he is also on the pre-medical track as he plans on becoming a physician. During his undergrad, he worked at Tufts Medical Center as a Cardiac Anesthesia Technician in the operating room. There, he worked closely with the perioperative team and patients, learning to anticipate specific needs before, during, and after an operation. Currently, he works at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center as a Clinical Research Coordinator for the Lymphoma service of the hospital. At MSK, he spends his time learning about the impacts of novel cancer therapies in their approach to ending cancer for all.
While most of his week is engulfed by his medical pursuits, he dedicates his free time to creating. His paintings often reflect his own personal experience with the medical world as they blend elements of abstraction and figuration in an attempt to reach a mutual understanding between medicine and art.
Jason is a painter based in Boston, MA.
